Loop knot to attach cast to main fly line

If you are using a 3 or 4 fly cast for traditional boat wet fly fishing, this is a quick way of attaching the cast to your main fly line.

Half blood knot tying hooks , flies, weights to mono line

The Half Blood Knot. For attaching hooks to monofilament line or nylon line. Tying swivels, lead weights.

Blood Knot. For joining nylon or monofilament line, making 3 or 4 fly casts for traditional boat loch wet fly fishing. This knot can also be used for sea fishing when using a paternoster rig when boat or pier fishing and in some instances when shore fishing.

Practise with this knot and persevere! At first you may think you need three pairs of hands, but it's a great knot to use especially for spade end or eyeless hooks.
